Daily Leadership Thought – February 04, 2018

Look around at work. You might see others just going through the motions of meeting their performance objectives. They might think if they sit straighter in their chair, hide their screen time and look interested, they will have a change in their results. Exercise goals at the beginning of the year are set with a goal of losing pounds. What is the result? The person making the goal gives up at the first sign of “ok, I can relax now.” A change in results only comes when we change our status quo thinking and seek to ask the question that opens up our options and possibilities to change our thinking and start being consistent on a new path of action.

“It’s easier to act your way into a new way of thinking than to think your way into a new way of acting.” ~ Warren Berger, Author of A More Beautiful Question: The Power of Inquiry to Spark Breakthrough Ideas
