It has been said that comparing oneself to others or even to one’s ideals is a thief, coming in the silence, seeking to remove one’s joy. Operating with this thief is judgment. Judgment drives a wedge between yourself and others. It creates a wall stopping you from living life to its fullest. When was the last time you criticized or judged another person or even your own shortfall to a goal? When was it that a team member did so and created a separation in the team? What happened during those moments? How did it resolve? Stop the ego from having its way. Embrace the other to understand.
