When do you take a revitalizing break? When do your team members? Too often you may try to cram one more thing in before the clock strikes a temporal event, such as lunch, quitting time, dinner, sleep time. Successful people know that it isn’t quantity that leads to success. Attending to another thing just adds to the list of what one thinks is done. Too often it just results in subpar performance. How do you attend to that list of things your boss gave you and still achieve leaving work at a reasonable hour? Do you delegate, improve your process, cut out distractions, plan more effectively to have control on your day? There are more ways to recharge for the next segment of your day. Talk a walk around the building, a nap for 20 minutes, engage in conversation that leads to building relationships. Change it up.
“It’s 2 pm. Do you know the best thing for your team to do right now?” ~ Joe Dutkiewicz
