When people are in a meeting or a workshop or some other type of event with a person facilitating they don’t have a connection, they take a stance of not believing the person can add to what they know. It becomes a trial to prove value for the facilitator. Good facilitators will connect with the audience at their level. The leader knows that it isn’t about them. It is about what they do to bring people in to listen more. 90% is about the audience’s experience. What are you doing today to connect to move people in from trial to valued experienced? Are you bringing people closer or roaring to get them scattering?
