People often try to downplay their abilities in the name of being humble. What they are saying to themselves in the process is that they are not good enough. Your actions and habits will speak for you. When your boss comes to you and says, “I want you to lead ______”, what do you say? Do you say no because it would mean more work and responsibilities and too much time from the family? Think instead of worse, likely and best scenarios. The worse is just your fears; ignore it. Follow the likely path of the outcome you see and improve as you go toward the best case.
“When an opportunity to lead is presented, Go for Likely and Grow into Best!” ~Joe Dutkiewicz
